Account Director - New Business

Toluna has over 1,200 employees across 18 offices in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific and Toluna works with many of the world’s leading market research agencies, media agencies and corporations. This role is in the UK Market Research Sales Team, based in Ealing, West London

Responsibilities

Business Development and Account Management
*Identify and engage with target companies in Market Research and Management Consulting to win new business
*Attain or exceed all established individual performance indicators, objectives, quotas and guidelines.
*Meet or exceed all revenue and retention rates for specified existing accounts.
*Build excellent client relationships offering value-added, insightful and strategic input to their business.
*Develop delighted customers who continue to purchase Toluna services on a regular basis.
*Provide quotations and advice to potential and existing clients within 60 minutes of receipt.
*Input all relevant information into the appropriate sales tracking databases, including: bids, prospect and client contacts, meeting reports, etc.
*Update all systems including CRM and ensure all administration is completely accurate
*Continuously develop skills and knowledge including participating in all ongoing Toluna training as required.
*Work as part of a high performing team

Industry and Toluna Knowledge
*Understand the research and business issues behind purchasing Toluna services with key decision makers
*Demonstrate knowledge of all Toluna offerings and product enhancements as well as how they relate to relevant business and research issues clients and end-clients face.
*Understand and use the Toluna pricing and all of its nuances.
*Be knowledgeable regarding all areas of product feasibility and timing, how to assess feasibility and timing and what steps can be taken to increase feasibility or decrease timing.
*Continually stay abreast of new product offerings, market research industry issues and competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Experience 
*Minimum 5+ years consultative sales experience
*Proven ability to ‘open up’ new companies from cold with a track record of success in winning new clients working through the full sales cycle
*Conceptual sales expertise and a challenger sales approach highly preferable with an understanding and aptitude for the market research industry
*Ability to thrive in a target driven and fast paced environment
*Consistent over achievement of sales quotas and a track record of growing clients
*Excellent communicator, including written and oral skills, who is able to articulate the Toluna value proposition
*Able to handle large volume of bids with tight turnaround requirements
*Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as in a team environment
*Success-driven with the ability to be flexible and self-motivated
*Excellent inter-personal and inter-departmental skills
*Positive attitude with a solutions based approach
*Strong computer proficiency, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Bachelor's degree preferred
