  • Frédéric-Charles Petit
    Chief Executive and Founder


    Frédéric’s mission is to revolutionize the way brands and consumers engage with one another, with the ultimate objective of transforming the market research industry into a real-time, mass market and social experience.  Today ITWP helps companies anywhere in the world make clearer business decisions by bringing brands and people together via its streamlined research platform and the world’s largest social voting community,  

    Frédéric, and his team, acquired several companies over the course of Toluna’s development, and has grown the company from one individual based in Paris, to a global company of more than 1,200 staff in 21 offices on 4 continents.

    Frédéric is an industry visionary, and speaks often among industry leaders about the transformation of market research, impacts of automation and more.

    Frédéric holds a Master’s degree in comparative jurisprudence from New York University and a diploma in advanced studies in international economic law from the Sorbonne in Paris (D. E. A.). He practiced as a French lawyer in the corporate department of Allen & Overy’s Paris office, before establishing Toluna in May 2000.

    Chief Financial and Operations Officer


    Pierre joined Toluna in 2015 and serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Pierre comes to us with many years finance experience and was previously the Investment Manager at Verlinvest, as well as Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young.

    Chief Digital Officer


    Phil Ahad, Senior Vice President of Digital Products is responsible for leading the vision, development and strategy for Toluna’s suite of digital market research products.  He is passionate about identifying first look technology and trends that innovate companies, industries and business concepts.  Phil has a broad range of experience in digital product leadership and marketing focusing on automation and disruption across all industry types.  He has held senior leadership roles from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. 


    Under his leadership, Toluna’s digital products have been the fastest growing products in the market research industry and has established Toluna as the top organization for end-to-end market research technology and innovation.   


    Phil holds degrees in Decisions Science and Management Information Systems from George Mason University School of Business.

    EVP, R&D and Technology


    Smadja ist Executive Vice President Forschung und Entwicklung und leitet als solcher die Forschung und Entwicklung der Social Voting-Seite Smadja verfügt über Erfahrung in Textanalyse und Communities. Vor seinem Wechsel zu Toluna war er Mitbegründer von RawSugar, einem Social-Bookmark-Startup und Vorreiter bei der Facettensuche auf der Basis von Benutzermetadaten. Davor arbeitete Smadja bei Bellcore, Lehman Brothers und einer Reihe von Startup-Unternehmen; hier war er für die Lösung zahlreicher Unternehmensprobleme mithilfe einer Auswahl an einmaligen und interessanten Technologien verantwortlich. Zu Smadjas besonderen Leistungen gehören mehrere Patente, begutachtete Publikationen, Buchkapitel und Engagements als Redner auf führenden Konferenzen. Ein kürzlich gehaltener Vortrag ist hier zu finden: Smadja besitzt einen Ph.D. und einen MSc in Informatik von der Columbia University, New York.

Before joining Toluna, I lead divisions at United Business Media in Hong Kong and Haymarket in London.

    Before he joined Toluna in 2015 as Managing Director APAC, Ludovic Milet already had 20 years of market research industry experience. In his current role, Ludo is responsible for Toluna’s business strategy and execution across the Asia-Pacific region.

    His market research background includes senior-level positions at GMI, where he was responsible for the Asia-Pacific region and GfK’s Retail and Technology Division (now called Consumer Choice) as Business Group Director working with decision-makers of leading organizations in the consumer electronics and home appliances industries throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific.

    Ludo has a Master’s degree in Marketing and Corporate Finance from Sciences Po in Paris, France.

    As Executive Vice President of Global Business Development, Jay Rampuria leads all business development strategy for the company.  His focus is to drive long-term partnerships with the world's largest Advertisers, along with new product development through innovative client and data partnerships.

    With nearly 20 years of leadership experience between Early Stage / Venture Backed Companies (RightNow, Island Data, Intelliseek/BuzzMetrics, and Unmetric), as well as, Large Enterprise Organizations (EDS, Nielsen, McKinsey, and Accenture), Jay brings considerable senior Sales and Account Management expertise in advertising, digital, social media, and text analytics, having partnered with some of the world's largest Brands and Agencies.

    Before Toluna, Jay was Global Head of Client Development at Unmetric, where he led all commercial aspects of the business, including sales, major account management and partnerships across the world. Before that, he was a Partner within the Accenture’s Interactive business unit and prior to that helped to found and lead the Americas’ Sales and Account Management organization for NM Incite (a JV between Nielsen and McKinsey). 

    He is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma where he received a BBA in Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS).

    Mathilde is Executive Vice President of Global Operations at ITWP. Mathilde joined Toluna in 2005 and grew her team from 3 employees in a single location to around 700 team members worldwide. Mathilde has been instrumental in defining and implementing the company’s operations strategy, and has been actively involved in the due diligence and integration of four acquisitions.

  • Patrick Van Bloeme
    Managing Director, France


    Patrick Van Bloeme is responsible for strategic development for France, alongside Nathalie-Perrio-Combeaux.  Patrick co-Founded Novatris – a French market research Company established in 1995 with Nathalie. This business grew rapidly to become one of the most reputed specialists of online research before joining the Harris Interactive group in 2004.

    Patrick has co-led the company since its creation, driving a constant strategy of growth through innovation. In Feb 2011, Patrick took the co-responsibility for delivering a positive restructure of the Harris Interactive UK business. In 2014, Harris Interactive joined the ITWP group. Patrick now co-manages ITWP in France (leading both the Harris Interactive and Toluna companies).

    Managing Director, France


    Nathalie Perrio-Combeaux is responsible for strategic development for France, alongside Patrick Van Bloeme.  Nathalie co-Founded Novatris – a French market research Company established in 1995 with Patrick. This business grew rapidly to become one of the most reputed specialists of online research before joining the Harris Interactive group in 2004.

    Patrick has co-led the company since its creation, driving a constant strategy of growth through innovation. In Feb 2011, Patrick took the co-responsibility for delivering a positive restructure of the Harris Interactive UK business. In 2014, Harris Interactive joined the ITWP group. Patrick now co-manages ITWP in France (leading both the Harris Interactive and Toluna companies).
  • Marco Gastaut
    Managing Director, South Europe


    Marco joined Toluna in 2008 as Commercial Director for Italy. This new professional challenge allows him to introduce to the Italian market innovative and revolutionary products for online data collection as well as to further gain expertise in the world of online market research. To date, the Toluna’s Italian clients includes all of the major market research agencies associated Esomar and Assirm with a focus on online and mobile research.

    Thanks to Marco, Toluna has achieved a leadership position in Italy for both the provision of online samples and technology solutions for creating panel community for research purposes.

    In June 2009, Marco has been promoted as Sales Director South Europe, with the aim of developing the Spanish market in parallel with the consolidation of the Italian market.

    In November 2014 Marco was promoted to the position of Managing Director with P&L responsibility. Marco’s mission is to facilitate investment in the market research industry towards automation, technology and innovation to accelerate the process of Consumer Insight generation.

    In January 2016 Marco was extended his MD responsibilities to South America and supervised the opening of Toluna Latam HQ in São Paulo, Brazil. Toluna aims to become a disruptive force in the market research sector in Latam and to affirm its leadership in this very strategic region.

    Thomas is responsible for strategic development for Germany. In his role he is responsible for business operations, methods development. Prior to joining Harris Interactive, and Toluna Thomas was owner and founder of MediaTransfer AG Netresearch & Consulting.   Dr. Thomas Rodenhausen is a psychologist, has a doctorate from the Free University of Berlin in the subject, where he worked as a research assistant.

    Tsahi Ben Yosef is a business leader with 15 years of diverse experience across technology innovation and execution. He has led a wide variety of projects in highly complex, dynamic environments, dealing with cutting edge technologies. Tsahi is also known as a prominent entrepreneur with 2 successful technology start-ups.

    In 2016, Toluna has acquired Crossence, his latest creation, specializing in cross-device passive measurement solution. Now Tsahi is responsible for driving Toluna’s end to end platform strategy & roadmap across 24 offices in 4 regions.
  • Sandy Casey
    SVP, Strategic Panel Partnerships


    Sandy is the SVP of Toluna’s Global Supply Acquisition team. The supply group is in charge of any and all aspects of supply, or respondent acquisition, such as Panel, Real Time Sampling and Outside Sample Vendors. Prior to joining Toluna Sandy worked with Cint, Greenfield Online and Socratic Technologies all in executive roles responsible for building each company’s respondent capabilities. Prior to joining the market research industry Sandy was a successful entrepreneur in the affinity marketing sector. Sandy has a degree in communication from Chapman University.

    Michael has been working in digital data collection since 2003 and has become a driving force in the Toluna management team. Michael now leads Toluna’s largest global account as VP of Strategic Accounts. He was pivotal in the growth of large MR accounts such as Brainjuicer and Harris Interactive  (pre-acquisition) and now leads the sales operation globally for Toluna’s largest account: Nielsen
