WHO YOU ARE:

We're looking for a Head of Communications who wants to contribute at strategic and tactical levels and will be responsible for shaping and communicating ITWP brands’ story. You are a storyteller that can craft an overarching narrative and tailors that story to various specific audiences (media, candidates and the industry). You have developed communications strategies on a global scale and understand how to make a message land at the local level.  You have run internal communications teams previously and have deep expertise working with executives on internal and external communications strategies.

We are a fast-moving organization and the ideal candidate should be a self-starter capable of juggling many challenging projects and comfortable in a player/coach role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build a deep understanding of the company’s mission, business strategies, product features, and growth metrics in order to tie communications work directly to desired business outcomes.
  • Direct the company's corporate communications and PR strategy and drive internal communications.
  • Leverage and establish relationships with external media that support the narrative you will be responsible for crafting, raise the company profile leading up to milestone events.
  • Own the refinement of our corporate narrative, messaging platforms, press releases, blogs, Q&As, speeches, editorials, etc.
  • Write materials required to deliver core Communications and PR strategies.
  • Manage outside agency and consultant resources.
  • Develop executives and leadership as spokespeople and thought leaders in the communities they will have the greatest impact; provide media training as needed.
  • Manage all internal quarterly meetings, working closely with executives on content and delivery.
  • Help ensure global consistency in our presence in other countries and markets.
  • Track metrics and report on results, surfacing learnings and recommended actions as necessary.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a team to support these goals as your areas of responsibility grow.


WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • 10-12 years work experience in communications or a related field.In house experience a plus.
  • Expertise building Internal and external communication functions
  • Experience in the technology industry, SaaS or B2B space a plus.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Strong portfolio of writing examples
  • You must be innovative, creative, dedicated and possess high energy.
  • You must be capable to work effectively and collaborate across multiple groups and brands.
  • Be a leader and create a positive and motivating work environment that encourages feedback, innovation and collaboration.
  • Fluency in French a plus.
