Business Development Research Manager

Toluna is seeking for a high quality individual to work within our Southern Europe sales team, who is highly skilled in both new business and account management, having covered a reserach role for, at least 5 years in a Research Agency, Media Agency or Consutancy.

Business Development and Account Management
Mix of account management and new business responsibilities.
Sell Toluna’s online services in a defined sales territory focusing on Corporates.
Attain or exceed all established individual indicators, objectives, quotas and guidelines.
Build excellent client relationships offering value-added, insightful and strategic input to their business at the pitch stage, proposal stage and presentation stage.
Participate in all ongoing Toluna training as required.
Input all relevant information into the appropriate sales tracking databases, including: bids, prospect and client contacts, meeting reports, etc.
Market Research industry and Toluna Knowledge
Knowledge of selling to the market research industry in general and the positioning and benefits of online and mobile research to clients and prospects.
Understand the research and business issues and reasons for purchasing Toluna digital services with every key decision maker.
Understand and use the Toluna pricing, fesibility tools and how to asses timing
Continually stay abreast of new product offerings, market research industry issues and competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent level of written and spoken English required; and native Italian.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing or a sales concentration
Highly skilled in both new business and account management and ability to thrive in a quota driven environment;
Market research background, having covered a research role for minimum 5 years (Research Agency, Media Agency or Consutancy);
Strong computer proficiency, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Ability to develop and conduct effective client presentations in-person and via the telephone;
Cold-calling skills to arrange appointments with clients and prospects;
Excellent inter-personal and inter-departmental skills;
