Major Purpose of the Position

We’re looking for an exceptionally talented, inquisitive, innovative and passionate individual to join our newly formed Global Account Strategy Team. This role will be instrumental in enabling our world class commercial organization to grow our key accounts via data and trend analysis.

The ideal candidate will become a trusted advisor and liaison between Sales, Product and Finance. The focus of the role will be around providing strategic support to key account leadership with data driven decisions via your unique blend of qualitative and quantitative capabilities.

You’ll be involved with finding the right data sources and interpreting the data to determine if replicable trends exist. You will design, scope and build key reports and dashboards that enable sales leaders at all levels of the business to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on adding rigor to key account operations through data (financial and usage) capture and dissemination via dashboards
  • Ongoing one on one communication with relevant regional account leads
  • Identify next potential key accounts via trend analysis and close alignment with commercial leads
  • Close alignment with ongoing global corporate pipelines to find synergies
  • Leverage BI software to run analyses on our sales, usage and financial data
  • Become fluent in our CRM system and data flow
  • Partner with sales operations and executive sales leadership to enable transparent, data-driven decisions
  • Develop creative data collection methodologies that enable insightful analysis
  • Build out account maps for key accounts via research (LinkedIn, interview account leads, etc.)

Experience & Required Skills

  • Have 5+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of success; industry experience in sales, customer operations or management consulting preferred
  • Can use BI Applications (PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik etc.) to create data models and dashboards
  • Know how to clean and link complicated data sets from various sources
  • Strong ability to translate and communicate complex statistics and metrics into understandable reports for senior level executives
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented, with a passion for digging into data to identify key trends, results and critical outcomes required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Google Apps, Salesforce.com, QlikView, LinkedIn
  • Have B.A. or B.S. degree
