Toluna is looking for a dynamic addition to our team to further accelerate our growth. The ideal candidate will be articulate, adept at building creative solutions and constantly motivated to delight our fast-growing customer base. There will be focussed requirements to support the sales process from a platform demonstration and “pre-sales” aspect, and post-sales platform utilisation & best practice. The ideal candidate should be curious, really want to get under the skin of our clients’ challenges to help address them and should be autonomous and initiative-driven.


  • Commercial focus – ensuring business targets exceeded
  • Drive sales by providing our direct sales team with the necessary knowledge and expertise in business-benefit driven communications
  • Consult with clients on their projects – understand their objectives and how our solutions can best help achieve their aims
  • Present & demonstrate our solutions face to face in client meetings
  • Help our customers deliver the greatest impact from their research
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to create inspiring content through webinars, newsletters and events
  • Work with sales as an expert in understanding customer’s real-time research needs
  • Ensure our clients experience a “one-team” ethos, forging collaborative relationships across our internal teams including sales, client services and digital solutions - both in market (Australia & New Zealand) and across the wider APAC group.
  • Communicate the benefits of the Toluna’s digital solutions to new and existing clients, by:
    • Delivering solution expertise – build a deep knowledge of all aspects of Toluna’s solutions to ensure you can present client benefits, best practice usage, training and ongoing consultancy
    • Providing commercial expertise – be focused around business targets for their solutions and aim to drive the business to exceed those targets
    • Delivering web demonstrations and webinars
    • Building relevant case studies and white papers
    • Attending customer events to demonstrate the value we can bring
    • Seeking referrals across businesses to find new buying points
    • Presenting at events as required
    • Deliver basic and intermediate training
    • Partnering with internal teams to deliver reviews and strategic advice
    • Inspiring our customer to utilize and take full advantage of our solutions
    • Co-present with our clients to their internal stakeholders
    • Work across new business opportunities with our sales team – plus existing accounts to upsell and grow their investment in the solutions and wider ITWP business
    • Engage with the commercial teams across Toluna to build bespoke messaging and approaches to our various client types & know how to utilise those teams to best effect and succeed



  • Growth in customer lifetime value
  • Increased conversion – of sales leads, from free users to paid, from serviced users to DIY
  • Increased renewal rates and reduce lapsed clients
  • Delivering and beating our commercial targets



  • Proven market research experience
  • Experience with technology and digital solutions a bonus
  • Able to communicate at all levels of business, both internally and externally.
  • Confident and capable presenting solutions to client contacts up to C-level.
  • Track record of providing added value consultancy for clients throughout the sales process.
  • Seen internally as an expert in your field
  • Knowledge of existing Toluna solutions a benefit
  • Proactive, self-motivated, detail-minded, and can work without constant supervision
