Understanding Survey Respondents, Mobile vs. Desktop

The increase in mobile smartphone usage is a widely discussed topic in market research, as companies struggle to reach consumers in an increasingly mobile world. Younger demographics are particularly difficult to reach, as they are more likely to prefer to take surveys on mobile devices, sometimes exclusively. As a result, surveys limited only to respondents completing them on a laptop or desktop are not as representative of the population as device agnostic surveys or surveys that appear on all devices in an optimal way.

In this session, we will:

  • address the growing need for device agnostic surveys;
  • share research on research regarding mobile survey completes and a comparison with desktop;
  • present recommendations and limitations to creating device agnostic surveys to ensure an engaging experience and representative results.

Community ROI & Working with Internal Stakeholder Groups

Speaker: Julie Paul
Starting with ROI – helping clients sell the concept of community into their organization; then once sold, build awareness of the community with stakeholder groups within the client organization, and finally, once the community takes hold, controlling the high demand coming from stakeholder groups to optimize community engagement while meeting the needs of internal groups/divisions.
