The increase in mobile smartphone usage is a widely discussed topic in market research, as companies struggle to reach consumers in an increasingly mobile world. Younger demographics are particularly difficult to reach, as they are more likely to prefer to take surveys on mobile devices, sometimes exclusively. As a result, surveys limited only to respondents completing them on a laptop or desktop are not as representative of the population as device agnostic surveys or surveys that appear on all devices in an optimal way.
